Friends,
Thank you very much for supporting my election to the state Assembly. Now, the really big work begins.
I believe in hard work. As your representative in the Assembly, I will strive to make state government more effective, more efficient, and more helpful.
I am a problem-solver. We need more accountability and more transparency in Sacramento. We need not only more answers but better answers.
My priorities include:
1. Cutting taxes and balancing the state's budget by ending wasteful spending.
2. Protecting our communities and punishing criminals.
3. Offering common sense approaches to our problems.
4. Promoting our economy by removing senseless regulations on business.
5. Protecting our future by ensuring high-quality schools.
6. Making our lives less complicated by government.
The bottom line is: Sacramento has to start working for us.
Every member of the Assembly is charged with making important decisions about our state's future, but they also have an important responsibility to ensure that our system works. When you need help with a state agency or program, you should receive accurate and timely assistance. When you have a complaint with the state, it should addressed quickly. And when you have an opinion, it should be considered fairly.
